All the Joy

If I could ask my heart
Just how many rooms of love it has
The answer would be a castle's worth
Every friend I've ever had has a place there
Every lover, a special room
But only a few have ever had the key to the castle
Some have forced me to change the locks
But I never regretted the change
My heart is filled with happiness
For all the joy love has shown me

If I could ask my soul
Just how much capacity for love it has
The answer would be greater than I could measure
Every dream I've ever had swells it like a balloon
Every success adds another layer of volume
Because my soul expands with every new experience
And I am incapable of charting the effect
Of all the changes love can bring
My soul is filled with happiness
For all the joy love has shown me
