Where I Want to Be

love rises in the morning sun
stretches out the last wisps of night sky
and makes the rain seem romantic

love runs with the swiftness of rivers
floats with the endless joy of butterflies
and scales the highest mountains

love lies in the deepest of ocean pools
hides in the darkest caverns
and slumbers like an inactive volcano

love waits in the sheltered groves of the heart
sees with the eyes of the soul
and believes far more than the mind will ever reveal

love is never afraid to be itself
it breathes with the purity of truth
and creates paradises built for two

love is where i want to be
